It is pretty easy to get into, I don't think the university cares much about what you get on your ACTs though. If you get between a 16 and 20 on them they will probably put you on a waiting list temperarily, and everyone i have talked to who was put on a waiting list, got accepted.

If you are an above average student but do not want the clamor of UofM or MSU, I recommend enrolling in the Lee Honors College and going through the Thesis process. It is great for job interviews and sets you apart from the rest of the thousands of other students.

The school is not the hardest to get into at all. It seems they accept just about anyone from out of state because of the out of state tuition. The school has a lot of kids here to strictly party but if you are here for the right reasons it is a good school.
